I would place the app pool in to 32bit mode as you get better performance and compatibility.

You only need 64bit app pools if the app pool is going to be more than 3GB in size and the largest app pool I have ever seen is 1 GB.

When you create a website on the IIS web server it has an application pool that the website will run in.

In the IIS Manager you can edit the app pool and set the 'Enable 32-Bit Applications' to 'True' setting the app pool to 32bit mode.

You can then use the 32bit version of AspUpload and AspJpeg which can be installed on an x64 windows operating system.
