Hi

Can I assume that the schema details is the same between MySQL and SQL Server. In otherwords I can create a MySQL database and just simply migrate the data across?

Do I need to be aware of any IDENTITY values creation or anything like that?

Thanks

MySQL and SQL Server are very different so the schema is very different, and identity values are used as foreign and primary keys so need to be correct.

Support for mySQL was only introduced as at the time SQL Server was sold as a expensive premium  service by web hosts. Now that SQL Server is included with even the cheapest Windows Hosting Packages you should use SQL Server and not mySQL for Web Wiz Forums.
