Just tested this in all browsers for Image and File Upload, insert Emoticon and insert Hyperlink, but in Microsoft Edge I get the “Error inserting object in current location”.

Is there any solution for Microsoft Edge?

Microsoft Edge is currently not supported for the WYSIWYG Editor as it is missing a number of important JavaScript functions that are needed to the WYSIWYG Editor to work.

But the WWF works, do you intend to do any update into the News Pad to activate all functions no the Edge, just like the WWF?

WWF also does not support Edge for the WYSIWYG Editor.

It would take many 100's of ours to completely redevelop the editor to work with Edge.

As NewsPad is a free application, and hardly anyone uses Edge at this time, it is hard to justify the huge expense to redevelop the editor at this time to support Edge.

It could also be that Microsoft will fix the JavaScript issues with their browser in the future as Edge looks to be released to early as it lacks many features.

They looked to have taken the IE 11 Trident engine, stripped any legacy code, and slapped a new interface on it and gave it the new name of Edge. To get the editor to work in IE 11 had to tell IE 11 to render the page as IE 10.

There are no such issues with any other browser just Edge which looks to suck as much as IE did.
