OK.. I have done search after search about this topic.. I have downloaded a couple MODS but none have been what I am looking for.

I found a site that lists who's online, but it's on their home page.. you can go see it here http://www.chubclub.org - http://www.chubclub.org

I WANT THAT!!  Can anyone tell me where to get it.. or how to do it?  It would be a perfect addition to my site.

By the way.. that site is the original site I found and wanted the same forum.. and searched for DAYS and DAYS for info about it.  I even posted on their forum and they wouldn't answer.  Finally, I viewed the source code and saw got the info.. I am THRILLED I even thought to look there!

Ok.. thanks guys.. I know you will help me add this to my site!!

I'd imagine you can take the code from the active_members.asp and display it where you want.

Thanks for your reply.  Please forgive me for my lack of knowledge on this.. but i'll just ask some questions.

first of all, the code to run what they have on their site isn't listed on my forum is it?  Or could I just steal (borrow) the code from their source?  And if I do.. don't I have to change the code to look from my www file to my forum file??

Thanks for any help.. I just loved that stat area, and know my users would appreciate it too!

Your site is using v7.0+ --- the latest version that you probably downloaded from here.  The version used on the other site looks like v6.34

Last I've read the active_members was not yet working in the latest version --- maybe someone else can chime in here....

Out of luck for now!  Search the forums --- I'm sure others have asked when the active members will be ready for use again...if you can't find it you can start a new thread---but I'd search thouroughly first cause the powers that be here don't like answering the same question over and over.  You may also want to do searches on version 7.02 and see what updates that includes --- your solution might be in the next version.

I am using v7.01 on my forums and the active members works for me.

Remember you have to turn on the show active users function in the admin page under the forum configuration.

Hey thanks guys..

Lets see.. 808Rider.. cool site!  I do have the place where it tells how many are online, but in my first post up there.. I posted a link to another site that has a REALLY cool box that shows exactly who those members are.. complete with little icons too!

I will be patient and keep waiting.  I am sure someone out there knows how it's done.. I did see their code on their source.. but don't know how to implament it.

Some day..
