  • Fast Load Times
  • Browser Consistency
  • Effective Navigation
  • Good Error Handling
  • Mobile Compatibility
  • Accessible to All Users
  • Well Planned Information Architecture
  • Well-Formatted Content That Is Easy to Scan

It depends on your use case. Some websites are more general in nature and some are only use for very specific things. Tongue

mobile compatibility is important for nowadays for website designing. people most currently using mobile for searching queries, so responsive website important.

The type of CMS you used for creating a website matters a lot. Two pillars of a good website are:-
1. Technical - that includes page speed, loading time, compatibility and architecture 
2. Content - It includes what you write and how you present it on your website. I also consider navigation as a part of a content.
