I'm having a strange problem with e-mail configuration. I have DIMAC JMAIL 4.5 installed, thus i selected this component. set correct user, email address, password etc ... and run the "Test Email Settings" button. After this i get the following message:

The email has NOT been sucessfully sent!!

Please check your Email Settings are correct.

Server Error Message:-

Microsoft VBScript runtime error
Object doesn't support this property or method

The fact is that when i go check the mail server log, i can see that the mail was sent correctly, thus it does not seem an error regarding the mail configuration. How can I solve this ?

I suspect that it could be the character encoding part that requires the Pro version.

JMail is no-longer being developed and is only supported in Web Wiz Forums for legacy reasons.

I would suggest using either Persists AspEmail or CDOSYS.
