I recall doing this many years ago for someone and it was very difficult and took the best part of a couple of days to complete. I would not have the time these days to do such a migration, so unless you want to try and do it yourself you might be stuck with MySQL. The fields that caused the biggest issue are date/time fields and Smallint in MySQL would be a Bit data type in SQL Server.

Thank you for your answer Bruce I think it's worth the effort - maybe In the dark winter evenings, I can find the peace to do the job.  Did you use any kind of converter-tool, or did you do the job manually?

Yes, I used a convertor tool and then went through correcting the data types for fields that did not convert correctly. I think I used Navicat, but it was almost 10 years ago, I could be wrong. What I would suggest is creating a new install of Web Wiz Forums SQL Server version so that it can create a database that you can use for reference.
