I have been observing for many months that there are always about 36 "SemrushBot " IPs (185.191.171.*) always on the login_user.asp page. Why? Are they trying to get user access to my forum?

I never see this kind of ip in other pages of the forum, they are only in login_user.asp.

More than 12 hours ago I put in robots.txt:

User-agent: SemrushBot Disallow: /
User-agent: SemrushBot-SA Disallow: /

and they are still only in login_user.asp (these ips go in and out).

Does anyone know something? Thanks.

The SemrushBot is an SEO bot, while not a malicious bot you may wish to block it from access your website if are not using Semrush services. See link below on SemrushBot

When updating a robots.txt file it can take a few weeks for bots to update their settings and stop indexing your website.
