I accidentally created a new category when what I really wanted to do is create a new topic. I can't find any place to delete Categories. Is there a function on the admin section or do I need to delete the record from my SQL db?

Under forum adminstration in teh admin area you can delete an entire category, but it will delete all forums and posts within that category.
