I have worked with standard MS Access databases just stored local on an Intranet and have designed a few from scratch. I have a particular MS Access database that I have split so that it has a front end user interface but all the data is stored in the backend database. I accomplished this through linking to stored tables in the backend side.

My question is: Can you link from one database to tables in another database in the same manner on an Internet server? In theory it would appear you could in the same way as on an Intranet, but I just have not attempted to try yet. So I was wondering has anyone done this on the Internet?
