I have downloaded web wiz forum 7.1 and uploaded it to my ftp.

it worked once. I tried to login but then it doesnt work any more. problem is :

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'

Operation must use an updateable query.

my forum adress is: http://www.sakaryaspor.net/forum - www.sakaryaspor.net/forum

what should I do? please help me friends..

Operation must use an updateable query.

You haven't set your permissions right, or your database is in the wrong location where it doesn't have write/read permission.

I didn t change anything in the forum, as soon as I downloaded, I had uploaded it.

at first it worked but then not work.

database is in the right location but I can t solve the problem :(

how can I set my permissions right Badaboem?

If you are not using iis , you can't set the permissions yourself. There should be a directory with the right permissions available on your host where u can u/l db files.

Contact your web hosts and get them to set up permisisons on the folder conatining your database so you can write to it.

I got the same problem..... I think. Whenever I try to login I get:

This is the first time this has ever happened. I've been using these boards for quiet some time.

Again this is a permisisons problem, contact your wen hosts and get them to change the permisisons so you can write to the database.
