For everyone who has been trying to get WWForums to work on their premium paid brinkster accounts, I've managed to get mine to work. You can simply contact premium support on their live chat and ask them to set permissions on any directory under \webroot of your choice. You can then use that directory for your database, and be able to configure WWForums to point to the new location, instead of trying to reference a directory outside of \webroot.

sorry to prove you wrong, -boRg-...

I've been using WebWiz on Brinkster Premium for a year or so already, what's so special about it?

What version of WWF are you using on your hosting plan?

I'm using WWF 7.01. It refused to connect to the database while it was located outside of the \webroot directory,
and according to -boRg-, it shouldn't work on a Brinkster Premium account at all...

seeing as nobody else has posted a solution (and I did search), I thought I'd people know how I did it.
