It menas that you don't have sufficient permissions on the SQL server to run stored procedures that are required for the forum.

last question:

when you're talking about "stored procedures" you mean procedures which come with the SQLServer or Procedures that the programer of the this forum created?

forget it. i understand that this is procedures that the programer create.

i can see that thos procedure are created and on the SQLServer.

can you think of a reason i can create Procedure but can't use them?

thanks

in the SQL enteprise manajer go to the "store procedures" section.

the when you click on the properties of each stored procedure you need to change the permissions to "everyone" instead of administrotor (or something like that).

i hope that will help.

Ok, I used SQL Server Enterprise Manager (which I luckily had installed) to remotly connect to the database on my host. I opened stored procedyres and altered the EXEC rights so my dbuser could execute the forums stored procedures...

Next thing I am curious to find out, is wether or not I have to do the same on all tables created by the installscript.... I see my user does not have permissions to do SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE or DELETE.... But perhaps its not needed when the user has access to run the stored procedyres....

Time will tell... :D
