I was jsut wondering how people have their sites hosted? do you have a certain package with a hosting company? or do you host it on your own machine?

me, i use a hosting company and pay $9.95 a month

i've got almost everything: 150MB webspace, P4 SErvers, IIS5.0 on Win2k advanced Server, T3 Connection, MSSQL, MySQL, JMail, Cdonts, Almost all Persits Components, the lsit goes on...

what you got?

I host my family site and ftp on a machine at home...but the other sites are all done through nexpoint.net. Haven't been disapointed with them yet!

http://www.readyhosting.com - www.readyhosting.com    $99/year with 500MB space and unlimited bandwidth, cgi perl, sql, access, php, asp, ftp support, and alot of other stuff...

only thing that has pissed me off is that they only have asp simple upload component on their servers!!!!!!

excellent customer service though and really fast. i have never seen a downtime personally either.

one of my clients are hosting with readyhosting, but it seems like the quickest i can get a reply from the ticket system is 3 days wait.. pretty annoying.  other than that, they are good sofar.

I hosted a lot of sites with nexpoint.net but for a log time they had BIG server issues, my sites just would not stary online and it was really annoying, im slowly phasing that company out.

Come on guys, please don't advertise other hosting companies as the only thing that is keeping this site afloat at the moment is by selling web hosting through the hosting side of this site at  http://www.webwiz.net - www.webwiz.net

mzz yea ,no douth thats great hosting , but i think is normal that people will choose a hosting company in the neiberhood , not only to get the date, time right in their aplications but also it' eazyer to pay ,..

nah,

My site is hosted in UK, although I'm in Brazil, Time and Date is very easy to set up.

Paying is equal the if host accept an international card...
