have you changed anything in that page... site_configure.asp in the admin area?

as it is saying that there is an extra end if (i think it is that)

I have changed nothing - it runs perfect on my local server. But when I upload it to our public server I get the errors.

It could be a corrupted file, try reuploading all the files again.
