I don't know if that issue was raised before, I make a search and did not find anything, so here is the problem. Any visitor that can access a public forum can get a user name, go on login page, click on forgotten password link, type the user name and submit. This will reset the user password and send the new password to the user. This is not a bug but a real pain in you know where...imagine the frustration if you have 1200 users. I'm running version 7.0 beta 3 |

You're running an old version Mailman. I tried to update with the latest version last night and I realize that the database structure is not the same. I did run twice the SQL setup by the past but always loose the entire database. Is ther a step I'm missing or a document I can use to manually create the missing tables/fields because I don't want to loose them again I want to update from 7.0 beta 3 to 7.0 Final SQL |
