when ever someone tries to register on my forum.

and you type the username and password and email etc.

then you press register. the following error occurs.

error '80020009'

Exception occurred.

other than that the forum is working perfectly, but I can't get anyone to register.

If you can tell me how I can fix this problem

because the whole idea of having a forum is to get others to register.

You never said if it is the SQL server or the Access version you are using.

This error could be coursed by a corrupted file, try re-uploading.

It could also be, if using the SQL server version that the database is not setup correctly.

You need to make sure that you have not removed the user groups from the database, in particular that there is a starting group set.
