Hi, I want your Help...
I want to make a report for students absence in a school, I don't know how to make the database,
will I make a table have the columns "StudentName" and a 356 other column for each day, and a check is placed when he is absent that day, or what? this way will work but is there something better. Thanks.

Have a table called STUDENT which contains fields for
StudentID strFirstName strLastName and what ever other information you need about the student and another table called DATEABSENT which contains fields for StudentID dteAbsent In STUDENT, StudentID would be the primary key. In DATEABSENT, StudentID and dteAbsent together would be the primary key. StudentID would be a foriegn key referencing the StudentID in the student table. When a student is absent the date would be entered into the DATEABSENT table by adding the StudentID and the date. A table join could be used join the information together such as: Select STUDENT.*, DATEABSENT.DteAbsent from STUDENT, DATEABSENT where STUDENT.studentID = DATEABSENT.StudentID ------------- L.
