Hi, What im trying to do is save a remote file, for example a image off another website to the local hard drive of the server using ASP. For example id like a smilie bank kinda thing on my forum where people can add smilies to it. So they could enter the path of a smilie on the web they have found, and the ASP pulls it across and saves it in a directory on the servers drive where all the smilies are kept. Will that work? - Carl S |

actually FSO would be backwards.... You'd wanna use something like XMLHttp to get the remote image and there is a ".Save" method of it that can save it to your server ------------- Contribute to the working anarchy we fondly call the Internet |
