Firstly, I'd like to say how impressed I am with Web Wiz Forum - it's a true equal of any forum software I've ever come across on the web, free or commercial.

I have one minor criticism/suggestion to make though: there seems to be some confusion about the use of the apostrophe in the English language (something which always gets on my nerves). An apostrophe (') should be used either for a possessive - for example; "the chair's leg is broken", or for a concatenation of two words, for example; "it is" becomes "it's". An apostrophe should not be used for a plural - for example, more than one chair would be "chairs", not "chair's".

I have noticed many instances in Web Wiz Forums where an apostrophe has been used for a plural (eg. "Forum's"). I simply ask that these be removed in a future version.

Thanks :-)

I agree with you. As long as we are on the topic of proper english, there are also many cases in the documentation where the word there is used when the word their should have been used and vice versa. I believe I found at least one other instance of improper use of a word in the documentation, but I can't remember what it was at this time.

To boRg, please take this as constructive criticism (as opposed to destructive criticism) to improve your product. Web Wiz Forums is a great product, and I for one, appreciate all of the effort you have put into it.

In order to help the author on this matter, perhaps we should send him specific examples of where the problems exist. Would a private message be more appropriate? or should we use the public forums?
