I use UltraEdit as well.

It's what all the apps on this site are coded in.

An impressive ASP/HTML code editor is NoteTab Pro at http://www.notetab.com - http://www.notetab.com which costs around $20.  It has search & replace for DISK files, highlights HTML tags, and has the capability to use "clip libraries" which one can generate so the user can for instance doubleclick on Response.Flush (or some other item in a list that one can control) and have that or something similar instantly placed on the page.

i use dreamweaver ultradev because it highlights my asp code so i know that i didn't misspell anything (like server.createobject, or request.querystring). I also have used dreamweaver 3 (the old version: go with v4 or MX if you don't want the asp functuality) for around 3 years.
