This error can be for a number or reasons.

It could be the path to the database is incorrect.

It could also be if IIS doesn't have coerrect persmissions to access the registery.

Or if you have frontpage extensions intsalled on your web site this can course these types of errors, many asp applications will not run with frontpage extensions installed if you use FTP to upload them to your site, you need to use FRontpage to keep the frontpage extensions intacted.

Hello,

I got this same error message:

http://www.cassadyequipment.com/forum/forum/default.asp - http://www.cassadyequipment.com/forum/forum/default.asp

I have checked IIS, Frontpage Extensions, and Permissions.  I had this forum working perfectly before - I have recently moved it to a new server.  Is there anything anyone can suggest I try?

Thanks a lot!
