Hello again!

I am wondering if anyone knows of a MOD or an ADD-ON that I can use as a photo gallery.  I want my members to be able to start their own gallerys, and give out passwords as they see fit.

I did start a forum that required a password, but I only gave it out to a handfull of people, but so far there have been 30+ views on some of them..

The only other way I can see of doing this is to start a passworded forum for each member?!  that wouldn't be feasable.  but that way the 'owner' could change the password when ever they felt it necessary, and only give out their password to those they wanted to.

Or what about the "blogs".  Can each member have their own blog?  if so, can they upload pictures to them without FTP access?

ok.. hope someone can help me again..

I have a fairly easy to implement photo album that is
done in ASP. It was created by a friend of mine so I am
free to distribute it as I see fit. All you would need
to do is add an upload page and put some forum security
checks and it could be integrated easily.

The nice thing is that it to add directories,
subdirectories, or images, all you have to do is create
or upload them. The album automatically finds em.

If you want it, let me know and I'll post a link.

That's a fantasic gallery!  Any way we could get that link?  It sure beats the stock galleries available through Frontpage or Dreamweaver.

There is a simple readme included from Keuv to me. Its simple to setup the basic gallery. To add images or directories just ftp em or put in an upload script.

Again, this is not integrated with wwg but gives you something to start with. If you figure out a cool board integration, please post it here as a mod!

WOW.. that is cool!  Thanks for the offer..

Since I knew that I know "NOTHING" about changing this stuff, I felt it best not to get in over my head again with another project.. so I did find a gallery that I really loved!

It is exactly what I needed.. something, basic, simple and easy to use because some of my members aren't real good with computers.

Anyway, I am (well.. WAS) making some minor changes to the look of my gallery, and setting up some users.. but then something went terribly wrong ~ so I have been working hard on it, now have the program author working on it..

anyway, to view my gallery, you can go to my forum home, then at the top, click on members galleries.   He also has a site where he gives away a free version of this gallery.. (I bought the pro-multi user addition)  but then he has a forum where someone else has posted a site that uses his gallery.. boy was I impressed!

Thanks again for the help and the offer.. but thought this way was best so you guys didn't have to walk me through another problem..

OH Boy, for some reason that question makes me nervous..

I'll have to check, cause I looked at so many stinking programs and some didn't use a database.. but I am sure this one did.

So is that a BAD thing?

OK.. I am excited to announce that NO.. I do NOT have a second database..   (that is good isn't it?)
