Guess the humor was not appreciated! They edited my post and took away the link.  That's life and the power of a Moderator.

Anyway to those who missed it, they showed you how to burn your favorite CD's by placing them in a toaster and turning it on.

 Get it, Burning them!

Correction...The moderator did not know that it was a joke, and your post DID look like a tip on how to pirate software! The moderator realized the mistake and opened the thread back up. You can probably edit your post and put the link back if you wish.

I thought maybe that was the case KCWebMonkey, but it's okay. Don't want to "mislead" anyone again.

You can go to a search engine like http://www.google.com - Google and enter a search for burn cd's in a toaster, and you will most likely get the article as the first hit. So check it out if you want.

It's all good. I understand. I have bad days myself. I also know why it would be a topic you would want to delete if it actual was a real pirate thing and not a joke. So don't worry. To michael, no hard feelings okay!

I just tried another good way.

  • Put your cd's in a frying pan and add a little water to create some steam.
  • Place a cover on it and let it burn for about 5 minutes.

    Worked for me!

i've always used the "light and run" method. See below:

  1. Dig a hole six feet deep and 3 in diameter
  2. Line the hole with 6 inches of concrete
  3. Proceed to your local demolition supply store and buy 65 pounds of C4 plastic explosive
  4. Carefully place the plastic explosive in the hole around the cd that you want to burn.
  5. Run the detonation wire at least 50 feet away from the hole
  6. Place blasting cap
  7. Proceed to hook up a nine volt battery to the detonation wire
  8. Your cd is now burnt.
WARNING: C4 may cause flying pieces of concrete to travel towards you at approximitely 600 miles per hour. Please take the approperate percautions if you still want all your extremedies.

Oxyacetylene torches work just as good as c4!

all of those cd burning tips r useless

  • go to a high-tech steel cutting factory which uses laser guns
  • put the cd on the table and hold the laser gun in ur hand pointing it toward the CD
  • read out loud the data u want to burn on a CD.. and turn on the laser gun..

a perfect CD burn in fraction of seconds
