did u upgrade the database.. the DB for v6 doest works with V7..bcuz the structure is different..u must replace ur v6 db file with the db file which came with v7..

u can use the data migration tool to migrate data from v6 db to v7 db

I've migrated mine from 6 to 7, but the active topics still do not work.  Every other features does.

Instead of removing this, does anyone know of a fix or why it's working (or not working rather) like this?

Right OK, I see people are too lazy to search the forum so I'll go through this again.

What you need to do is open the active_topics.asp file in a text editor, find the LCID line and change this to the LCID number of the server.

A full list of LCID numbers can be found in the FAQ's in the ASP section of this site.

If you want a fuller explination search the forum, I've been through this many, many times.

I did search and I am NOT lazy.  I somehow missed anything covering this. However, thanks for explaining this "many many times".
