I am interested in the possibility of designing a web site with buttons similar to the buttons on this web site. Please click on ASP. You will notice that the hidden submenu items will show up. I know how to do drop down menus in Fireworks. How do you have a button that will show hidden submenu items when you click on it in Fireworks? Can someone please explain the process to me?

It's good to look at the source of the web page. But I would like to get some instructions on how you can do this in Fireworks without having to do a lot of coding yourself.

Can someone please give me some instructions on how to do this in Fireworks? Does anyone know of any good tutorials that will show you how to do this?

are you referring to something like a DHTML dropdown menu?

Please take a look at http://www.signaturecarpets.com - http://www.signaturecarpets.com . Please click on the Information button. You will notice that other buttons under it will show up. This is what I am looking for. I want to be able to do this in Fireworks.

I think you'll find that all they've done is add the additional buttons on the hyperlinked page "company.html"

No tricky javascript here

You can do something similar in Fireworks by swapping slice contents from another frame but you have to be careful not to 'throw out' the layout when if your table cells expand...

If you'd rather use text for a drop down menu - there's an example of one  http://www.users.bigpond.com/pedro676/oldindex.htm - HERE which is only a simple Dreamweaver Extension - which you can either download from the exchange or ... just rip the code from the above example

G'Luck Misty - Let us know how you go
