I have noticed that members are not able to delete their messages within a thread, only edit them. This is inconvenient, as often members may wish to delete something they have posted once it's been replied to. As it stands, only Admin can do this. Instead members have to edit their posts and leave them "blank" in the thread... I have enabled post deletion in the admin screens for registered members but still to no avail!  Can anyone help?

No replies?  If this is how the forum works, is it possible to make a simple mod so that each member can delete their posting within a thread?  Obviously admin can delete all of them or any of them, each member should only be able to delete their own posts whether they are within a thread or not... or am I missing something fundamental here?  I am using the SQL version of Web Wiz Forums, version 7.0 b3.

Members can only delete their own posts until a reply has been posted, the reason for this is that it was found that for example if you deleted your posts in this topic my reply would look rather disjointed and people would wonder what the hell I have done a random post for.

Thanks for confirming this boRg, I figured that was the reason but would it be possible in any case to modify the code and allow them to delete their posts, even if a reply has been posted?
