I am currently using version 6.34 at my site and just saw that version 7.0 has the ability to utilize several admins versus one and that an IP blocker was available. My question is: Is it possible to update my current version to get these features and if its not, I take it that I will need to download the 7.0 version but how do I save all current forum posts and transfer them including forum members or will I lose them to?

Sorry if this is not in the right forum. Looked for about an hour and decided the heck with it and posted here.

If you are using the access version there is a migrator tool on the downloads page to transfer your data across to the new database.

Thank you.  Im not very good at the programming stuff, but the person who is helping me keep it up and running says that it was using the access database, but we moved it to use SQL server 3-4 months ago.

What is involved in converting the SQL database?

I am trying to do this same thing!  I have a 6.34 installation at http://www.digitalministry.org/forum - http://www.digitalministry.org/forum  and I would like to take it to 7.1, however I want to be able to move the posts as well!
