Just curious, is it possible to view a table or query that has over 8000 records on a web page without having the script timed out? If so, what's the trick? Or do I have to add a search criterion to produce fewer rows?

I am using PWS and Windows 98 if this is a factor to a possible solution.

Yes its possible to display that many records. But returning 8000 records to a user isn’t exactly efficient. I would recommend refining your search method and also incorporating paging-so for example only ten records would be displayed per page. Search on google for "asp paging"
