Can any one help?

I am running a win 2003 web server edition, and have installed the mailing list asp componant.

I can join the list fine and log on to the admin page but when I atempt to send a plain text mail I get the following mail.

Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'

Server.CreateObject Failed

/mailing_list/send_mail_functions_inc.asp, line 119

800401f3

I have tried using CONTS and not have tried jmail. the same error happens on both ocaisions.

any help would be apriciated

Did you ever have an email component working on your machine?

I am having the same problem when moving my ASP code from IIS5.5 to IIS6 (w2k3). The code worked fine before. Did you ever find a solution? Any help would be appreciated. Does it have something to do with IIS6 being 'locked down'?
