Is it possible that the cookie created in an IE WILL be available in another (independent) IE?

I created a cookie to login this user in an ASP and if I go to the forums in the same IE or in this IE's child (File->New->Window), the user is logged. If I close this IE or I open a brand new IE... there's no user logged.

As long as the cookie has not expired, it will be available to all windows of the same browser.

I'm using the code bOrg used.

Response.Cookies(cookienameinquotes).Expires = dateadd(year,1  now)

or something like that.

It should be:

Response.Cookies(cookienameinquotes).Expires = DateAdd("yyyy", 1, Now())

If that's what you are using it should be correct.

I copied and pasted bOrg's code. I didn't have it at reach then and wrote over the top of my head.
