Has anybody got any ideas how to make and access database more secure?  If you just put a database on the webserver with user info on it can't people just download the database and then view all the info?  Can you add a password to the access database and then change the connection string?  Please help, I've tried everything on mine and it just keeps buggering up.  Any help is appreciated.  R

you can set a password thus it is not too secure as there are bunch of hacks out there to crack that. First off take the db outside your web so below your webroot, this way noone can download it. Also you could deny read permissions. If you have access to iis manager associate the extension mdb with asp.dll or so, so if someone tried to dl it it tries to execute as asp but gives an error.
