I just had to fdisk my pc (not the one i'm typing on...). The only problem is that I only have a windows 98 UPGRADE cd. The darn thing wants proof that i actually own something from microsoft. Is there anyway i can *caugh**bypass..**caugh* that?

p.s. windows 95 came installed with my pc, so you can guess what happen to it...

try copying some system file to the root or something like this...

but better try searching for an oem version.

if 95 came installed on your PC, then use the recovery disk that probably came with your pc, install win 95, and then upgrade...

if you don't have the recovery disk, then get ready to give Billy Gates some more money!
