In a LAN or WAN, if I have an MS Access db working with some asp pages (the PC has IIS instaled)...

how can I access those asp pages?

They say the grass is greener on the other side, but if you really think about it, the grass is greener on both sides.

you mean that if the PC name is "LanHost"

I just need to type "//LanHost/default.asp" in the address bar?

Yup, but this will ony work if you are on the same network as the webserver, otherwise you will have to use the IP. Also, if the computer has more then one IP address, you will have to use the IP address instead, otherwise it picks the default IP and if the webserver isn't configured for that IP, you will get an error saying there is no site configured for that address. Oh, i forgot to put the http: in front of the // earlier too, sorry bout that, so it should be:

http://webservername - http://webservername

or

http://webserverip

The best thing is to ask the admin what to use as there might be additional "domain name" that you might need to type in. For instance, I have under my own local machine 3 sites which I access using seprate "domain" like in: //localhost/site1, //localhost/site2, localhost/siteX...

You can also make it like //localhost/siteX.com or else.
It's realy a matter of site definitions in IIS so there isn't an universal rule for that.
