Dear All,

1) Just downloaded the CHinese Simplified languages files, and in the readme.txt, it asks to "Simply replace the original langauge_file.inc that comes with the Web Wiz Discussion Forums version 6", but I didnt see the file, the original says language_file.inc.asp, thus, I renamed the new language_file.inc (came in the chinese simplofied folder) to language_file.inc.asp!  And I also replaced the original "Forum_images" folder with the one that came with the chinese simplified, but it didn't change things to chinese, what went wrong?  Please advise

2) Is there anywany I can make the forum in a way that user can select to display either english or chinese?

3) Anyone using their forum in chinese simplified?  Do you think you can share your forum' links?

Thanks,

SKY

The lanaguge file is for version 6.34, if you have a langauge file called langauge_file_inc.asp found in a langauge file folder then you are running version 7 which won't work with the chinese langaufe file.

So meaning if I am using the version 7 beta 2, I can't use/have Chinese Simplified language until it is available? :(

Yoiu could away translate the files in the langauge file folder yourself, it should be quite straight forward, just use a text editor to change the text.

Meaning, I just need to edit the language_file_inc.asp file, replacing all the arguments with chinese simplified, then replace it with the original language_file_inc.asp?

In that case, I can just use the language_file_inc (within the Chinese SImplied folder) as a reference right?

Please advise

thanks,

SKY
