I have recently set up the latest version of the WWG Forum. I have come across something that I'm not sure how to reslove. Under the admin section where it asks you to send out an email notification if someone posts to the message board, or if someone replies to one of my posts. This isn't happening, it doesn't send me an email telling me that someone has posted, nore does it send me reply responses. I've done some testing with this, and other functions it appears to be working correctly. I've setup a test account and it will email responses to posts. But it appears that the only one effected by this is the admin email. I've even changed the admin email to see if that would have any effect on it. It won't.

I'm currently using CDONTS I haven't tried CDOSYS. But what I don't get is, if it works to send email to a general user, why not to an admin?

Thanks,
Ddraig

It could be that your web hosts have setup thier smtp server to only relay on emails with local email addreeses, check with your hosts as to thier settings.

I'll have to check that then also on the webserver. We're using the default IIS SMTP service, can you point me to the section you describe? However, I am able to get emails from my sign up form that I have created without any problem its just Webwiz. W
