I am making a new application for my site...

Its a users homepage application... (a.k.a. "Geocities Knock Off".)

What it does is allows users to sign up for a account, then create a homepage on the site. It does this through a access database (so you don't have hundreds of htm user pages on your server).

The framwork for the app is basicly done (you can add, remove, edit and view pages) but what I would like to do is to disable htm/html/asp or any other kind of tag.

I would also then add my own tags to replace them... Like the Web Wiz Forum Code.

The thing is, I don't know how to disable htm tags without the user bing able to re-enable them...

Could anybody give me some help?

(Note: I do plan on intergrating the application into a Mod for Web Wiz Forums... Though thats still far off.)

when you insert the text into the database...

use Server.HTMLEncode() around the text and it will escape all the html
