sorry, this question may be a basic one
 is there a way I can include a file using the physical path to it.. something like:
<!--#include file="D:\SiteData\webppliance\conf\domains\dotASP\Inetpub\wwwroot\dotASP\file.asp"--> (didn't work!!!)
if not... I have two domains want them to use the same file that contains variables, is there a way of making this?

Don't think you can include files across domains. Probably need to use XMLHTTP component or expose your variables using a web service. Cheers, ------------- There have been many, many posts made throughout the world... This was one of them. |

hmm.. it will not be across domain... I just want it to work through the local path... on the local server I have it works after putting some ../ but unfortunately, the ../ is not allowed in the include by my host. here is how it works locally: <!--#include file="../../../dotasp/Inetpub/wwwroot/dotASP/*.asp"--> |
