Recently i received this error on my portal.

http://129.125.101.174/dark%20project/index3.asp - http://129.125.101.174/dark%20project/index3.asp

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'

The changes you requested to the table were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key, or relationship. Change the data in the field or fields that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index to permit duplicate entries and try again.

/dark project/forum/includes/active_users_inc.asp, line 105

I'm using access 2000 version of 7.1. I have active users enabled and changed allot of code on my portal so i wasn't sure if the database was causing the problem. I know stripped the modules includes from the menu's and it's all clean now except for the include forum/common.asp

It still produced the error, but I don't see how..anyone? I may be losing records of 600 members here from the current 1900 (my database backup is a bit old)

I did do a compact & repair btw.

It sounds like you are getting duplicate index values, check the database design and make sure all is well with the index column in the active users table, at least thats where I would start.

I found the issue. I've placed the  common.asp include in the header of my site and it seems to have caused the duplicate database jet error.

Everything is working again.
