so I take it, converting my access dbase to MySql would be a NO??? or assuming ljamal is right, data would have to be transfered manually or would I just have to start over? ------------- http://www.samoanonion.com

Conversion, no...
You will need to set up the tables in MySQL and script the transfer of the data from Access to MySQL. Then you will have to edit the forum SQL calls to be compatible with MySQL. ------------- L. There is a conversion tool on cnet for MSAccess to MySQL. And I have to agree with ljamal, it is possible to convert the forum to mysql. I never completed it but got the default and forum_posts .asp to work.
