I have a site which i want to add a web wiz forum to but i need to put the forum in an IFRAME. As the site host doesn't support ASP I am linking the IFRAME to another host which I use where the forum is hosted. (I hope that makes sense).

The problem... When I log in direct to the default.asp on the MS server it works fine, but when I log in through the UNIX box through the IFRAME page it gives the following;

Sorry, only members with sufficient permission can access this page.

A security error has occurred with authentication.
Please ensure that all cookies are enabled on your web browser, and you are not using a saved or cached copy of the page.

Does anyone know anyway around this or shall I go for a redesign?

TIA,

Simon.

By default IE blocks 3rd party cookies. If you are using the forum in a frame on one site and the forum is on a different server, then the forum cookie considered a 3rd party cookie. The only way around this is change your cookie permission for 3rd party cookies in IE or stop using frames and/or URL redirection.
