I have a question thats been bugging me for weeks. Was linux developed in any particular programming language or is it a whole bunch of languages? I was watching a television program today and found out that someone wrote a DVD decoding program for linux (and got in deep sh*t), and i was wondering how that was done (what language).

Actually, the C language was originally developed to create linux, so yes, when it was originally developed it was all done in C.

They say the grass is greener on the other side, but if you really think about it, the grass is greener on both sides.
