I'm currently designing my jokes section of my website and i am stuck on how i should design it. I know that it should have a search by name and all that stuff but I decided to let my audience decide what it should include. If anyone has ever gone to a jokes website and said, "I wish that they had..." Then please give me some ideas. Thanks for the help in advance.

how about a "Rate this joke 1-5" form?

Good idea, do you think i should write a script that counts the amount of characters and rates the joke by length?

Or how 'bout letting your users vote?

You could also do with a joke of the day, or random joke script.

I agree with bliss, let the users vote on it, and give it a rating of 1-5...

look at http://www.jokes.com - www.jokes.com rating system for their jokes for an example.

all input is welcome :). I do have a joke of the day selection script, it selects a random record from my database. I could modify that script so it would select the highest rated joke... Should i give them ratings (G, PG, PG-13, R)?

Depends on what your audience is. I would definately seperate R rated jokes somehow. At lest give the a warning or something.
