Hey, i was wondering if i should use a stored procedure or just code it out in asp..

I have a member database with the members info and a rank... then i have another table called ranks and it has all of the ranks... i created a primary key in the ranks table and the member rank table gets that id and prints the data... im sorry if i dont make any sense... i will draw something if it no1 can help me...

In most cases, using a stored procedure will result in faster performance.

yea... that is what i was thinking... but i am kinda a n00b at sql server and stuff... i just recently made unoough money to buy the standard edition... and i am in school(high school) so that ate up my car lol... but it is worth it = )
