This is just a quick question...

In the Web Wiz login application it uses Sessions... But what are they?

(note: I already know what they do, I would like to know what they are. Though its not realy important. Just curious and I think this would be good for future refrence...)

A session ID is a unique number assigned to a user when the session (or Visit) starts. you can use this to store temporary information while the user's session is valid. By default, the session is valid ( or active) until 20 minutes of inactivity by the session user.
