Does it has any relation between it and the Remote Procedure Call Service? (What is it too!!!)

I'm now getting error in the Remote Procedure Call Service which forces my computer to shutdown when I connect to the internet.... no way I can escape from this shutdown but by opening QUICKLY the command prompt and write: shutdown -a to abort...

Shutdown is aborted, but I can't """CLICK""", the Anchors are not working inside the web pages, when ever I click I get this error message....

any help before calling Bill Gates???

Try looking at these two websites:

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=823980 - http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=823980

and

http://us.mcafee.com/virusInfo/default.asp?id=description&virus_k=100547 - http://us.mcafee.com/virusInfo/default.asp?id=description&virus_k=100547

You may have a worm (described in the second link) which takes advantage of a security hole (described in the first link).

Good Luck

here is a complete fix

a worm spread over the internet for past few hours making use of the vulnerbality in  RPC Service of NT based opreating system (windows 2000 / XP / 2003) and causing the computer to shut down 6000 seconds after it has established a connection to the internet..

for more information.. follow the links below

If you are running Norton Antivirus or McCafee, update them and then run antivirus scan an full system to clean up virus form your PC..additionally search for the file named msblast.exe in whole system and windows registry and delete the file as well as all registry refrences to this file in windows registry..

for editing the windows registry, go to run, type regedit and hit enter

WOW.. I'm not the only one.., sorry the boss....

to escape from this unexpected shutdown... in these 60 seconds open the command prompt and write:

shutdown -a

Windows will not shutdown...., but the clicks will not work after this...

I think if it is a worm of something like this... so it came to me from OutLook.... I remember very recently a mail came out with errors of C++ and so on just when i clicked on it from Outlook....
