Basically, its just experience. Keep working at it, you'll get better over time. If you like something particular about a site, take a look at the HTML output to see how they did it. Then try and implement it on your own site. Don't just copy it, because of copyright reasons, plus you won't understand how it works that way. One way to make a site look very immature is to have lots of flashing animated GIF's and pointless Javascript (like stuff that follows the mouse) - never do that.

Don't have anymore links at this location, but a google for "color wheel" ( In UK where dey spel bad -  "colour wheel"   )should turn up more.

One very usefull tool is EclipsePallette - a color picker. When I fire it up, it sits on the taskbar and let's me pick any color on the screen and then adjust that color selection. Can put the color code in the clipcoard in a variety of color code formats. Very usefull when you run across "just that right color".

I think the most original content for templates is liquid2d.com

Not a lot of material, but at least they're keeping themselves original

hello, Can any one suggest for good sources (preferably free/ small yearly subscription based) that offer graphic images (that include buttons, pictures, etc.)? The sources need to be of latest design, and continually updated.

Thanks in advance.

I spent the first few years of school in English schools. Had a hell of a time with the spelling when I got into the US educational system. Even now, I sometimes inadvertently use English spelling.

I suggest you to make the site yourself. It's not easy to find a good template and a template that correspond to your necessity.

Here i can give you any sites where you can find good Photoshop Tutorials to design your own site:

http://www.maddogs-asp.com/ - http://www.maddogs-asp.com/  (Also MOD builder in this forum)
http://www.eyesondesign.net/ - http://www.eyesondesign.net/
http://www.scudworkz.net/photoshop.php - http://www.scudworkz.net/photoshop.php
http://www.absolutecross.com/tutorials/photoshop/ - http://www.absolutecross.com/tutorials/photoshop/

If you search in Altavista: Photoshop Tutorials, you will find many many good sites.

If you want to make a great graphical site, i suggest to make in photoshop a new image (CTRL+N), you set the image size to 1024 x 768 or 800 x 600 and then you design your entire site. When you have finished the design, you must only cut out the buttons, the images, etc. and copy it in new single files and save it as .gif / .jpg files.

After you have made that you must only open your Web-Design software and insert the images and the button as you have designed in Photoshop.

My own site was designed with this simple sistem: http://www.ticinorally.com - www.ticinorally.com

Sorry for my english
