boRg,

Hi, okay first things first ! Thanks for the quick response to my questions ! I can honestly say you have redefined my view of developers .

A little bit of a curve ball but can you offer any advise on the forums and database sizing (SQL 2000) ?

If you need me to expand let me know, but I would appreciate an opinion based on experience rather than blind faith .

Thanks and Regards

Mark Dalton

PS:- Both forums and site news registered today, maybe site search when I get my head around the first two. Well worth the $£ !

By database sizingf do you mean the size of the database for the number of posts?

If so this forum currently ueses 26Mb of a SQL server database.

Yeah in essence,

Say the base DB is x MB in size when setup with no users, and taking a "standard user" base what can I expect for the DB size to reach in the case of 10,100,1000 users ?
