boRg, Hi, okay first things first ! Thanks for the quick response to my questions ! I can honestly say you have redefined my view of developers A little bit of a curve ball but can you offer any advise on the forums and database sizing (SQL 2000) ? If you need me to expand let me know, but I would appreciate an opinion based on experience rather than blind faith Thanks and Regards Mark Dalton PS:- Both forums and site news registered today, maybe site search when I get my head around the first two. By database sizingf do you mean the size of the database for the number of posts? Yeah in essence, Say the base DB is x MB in size when setup with no users, and taking a "standard user" base what can I expect for the DB size to reach in the case of 10,100,1000 users ? Mark ------------- - Don't ask me how it works, just be greatful it works! - Now what does this BIG RED button do?
