For the forums we use at http://ao.universalrealms.com/forum - http://ao.universalrealms.com/forum I set up a few private groups now it seems that some how the private groups get the ability to mess with member profiles... I have been unable to locate a section where this is permitted or able to remove such permission... If someone could help me out that would be great!

Make sure that the groups do not have moderator permissions on any forum otherwise all users in that group will be seen as a moderator and be able to edit user profiles.
