I'm trying to get the forums to work locally on my pc so that i can redesign a site I built...however when I try to load the forums I keep getting the following error... I've changed the UID and Password for the site (which runs off an MS SQL 2000 db and I've integrated the tables etc of the webwizforums into the SQL db) but now get the error below...can anyone please throw / shed some light on what the problem is so that I can try and resolve it? TIA HTTP 500.100 - Internal Server Error - ASP error

okay thanks for the info...but how does one sort read / write on an SQL 2000 db? Any info would be really appreciated.... |

you have SQL server? i thins that you shuld download the ACCESS version...
go to your control panel-->admin--> ODBC admin.. add MS access (*MDB) and give it write/read premmitions. |

Using the Access version isn't an option for me gate-11 as the rest of the site runs from the sql 2000 db. So any other ideas gate-11 or anyone? |

I've sorted it - I deleted and recreated the user and its working fine now... I didn't have to resort to Access... |
